It is a scientific fact that summer is a vile and nefarious time of year. The list of evils could go on for pages; it’s too hot, ugly humanoids walk the streets with virtually zero clothing on and most of them should be forced to wear at least a sack over their head at anytime of the year, idiots keep saying “oh, isn’t it lovely?”, I haven’t had a roast dinner in 3 months and worst of all the gaming world pisses off on holiday. Thankfully there is only a month or so of this nonsense left and bringing the gaming news back from the dead comes Gamescom, where plenty of new gaming goings on take place.
Here is a brand new trailer for Capcom’s Remember Me. Coming to the 360, PS3 and PC next May, French studio Dontnod Entertainment are presenting us with an action title set in a neo-noir Paris in the year 2084, where stealing people’s memories is the name of the game. Here is the official blurb:
“Take on the role of Nilin, a former elite memory hunter with the ability to break into people’s minds and steal or even alter their memories. Arrested, and with her memory wiped clean Nilin must now set out on a mission to rediscover her identity.”
Despite the trailers fairly hammy voice acting we like the idea behind this one and will be keeping an eye on further news an announcements.
