Gears of War, oh how you are missed. We spent three games kicking seven shades of alien goo out of Locust Horde and quite frankly that wasn’t nearly enough. Thankfully we have less than twelve months to wait until we get another opportunity to stick it to those extraterrestrial uglies as People Can fly have announced that March 19th is pencilled in for the release date of GoW: Judgment.
Set during the initial aftermath of ‘Day-E’ (which I think is a good name for Eazy-E’s Birthday) and before the events which take place in the trilogy, we will be treated to a title which has a “riveting campaign featuring new characters, weapons and enemies.” Some of the game’s multiplayer features have already seen the light of day at this years E3 where we got our first look at ‘OverRun’. Here is a brand new video which walks us through the mode across the recently revealed Island map, which looks rather spiffy indeed.
Undoubtedly Gears of War fans will be looking forward to this one immensely and many will be interested to see how People Can Fly’s first GoW title will turn out.
