Regular visitors to the tree house will know that I’m particularly interested in games that involve a lot of violence but won’t know that I’ve been a big Ratchet & Clank fan since it’s debut in 2002 on the PS2. This cure and cuddly duo may not seem to be in keeping with the usual ultra violent characters I like to play as, but I have a fetish for the unique, imaginative, destructive and over the top weapons that these guys carry.
The latest addition to the series will return to the classic third person camera used in the original games, and will also feature a co-op option. The game was announced by Insomniac Games to mark the 10th anniversary since the original game was released and it also coincided with the release of the Ratchet and Clank Trilogy which is available to download from the PlayStation Store and consists of their first three classic adventures, Ratchet & Clank, Ratchet & Clank 2, (aka Going Commando) and Ratchet & Clank 3, (aka Up Your Arsenal).
This ape can’t wait to get his hands on Full Frontal Assault and I’m also dieing to see what other hilarious titles they’ll come up with in the future.
