One of this years major E3 trends is the continuing rise of the ‘cover shooter’ and Lost Planet 3 could turn out to be one of the very best in the latest batch from within the category.
This new trailer has some very familiar aspects; a mission which is vital, a wise cracking scrawny mechanic type and tons of tired action movie one liners. Still, the gameplay looks rather good and it seems like the development team have moved towards a more Dead Space feel than had been seen in the first two games.
Lost Planet 3 is due for release in the early part of 2013.
