My trusty steed in the land of Skyrim is one tough old nag. I call him Lim (which is funny if you speak Danish) and he likes nothing better than to back heel a dragon in the teeth or a giant in the shin. He has indeed been both a loyal and faithful companion to me in the frozen lands of northern Tamriel.
I do worry about him though when he sprints off towards a nest of spiders. OK, so maybe it’s not his safety I’m mostly concerned about. My first thought is; “if he dies it’s a bloody long walk back to Riften from here.” Update 1.6 should help me keep him on his feet a little longer as it includes the introduction of mounted combat.
The update is currently on in beta, which PC gamers can participate in over on Steam and will hopefully arrive in the coming weeks. There will also be a number of bug fixes in this patch which can be found at the bottom of this page. This is something that fans have been wanting to see added for a long time and all we Dragonborn should offer up a collective Fu-ro-dah in honor of Bethesda bringing this feature to the game.
Check out this video for a sneak peak of what we can expect to see when the patch arrives.
