Hold on to your fascinators ladies as this weeks UK Gaming Chart actually contains some movement. Max Payne 3 has blasted it’s way into 1st position seeing last weeks number 1, Sniper Elite V2, taking one in the dome and slumping in a crumpled heap to number 4. It’s the first time a Max Payne title has ever hit the top spot, but the real surprise (surprise? hmm) here is that despite being the 12th fastest selling PC title of all time, Diablo 3 only managed to nab second place after being outsold by Rockstar’s latest release by 8,000 units. Is this a refection of how PC gaming is on the decline or rather did Blizzard’s short comings including overloaded servers and error messages by the score put people off making a purchase?
Or are those last few lines nothing more than speculative hackery on my part? Yeah, the latter, you’re right.
